We can make home made wall hanging during summers, winters, spring, Diwali or Christmas. Its also one of the easiest home made gift ideas for your loved one.
So today we are going to talk about how to make a DIY wall hanging from ice cream sticks using acrylic paints.

- Acrylic Paints
- Brush set
- Glue Stick, Fevicol or Hot Glue Gun
- Thread
Step by Step Tutorial on how to make wall hanging from Ice cream sticks
So here is a step by step instructions on how to make a homemade wall hanging with Ice-cream sticks using acrylic paints.
Step 1 – Take few Ice cream sticks and a piece of the cardboard sheet.
Step 2 – Arrange the ice cream sticks on the cardboard sheet next to each other to form a pattern.(As shown in the below pic)
Step 3: Consider 7 to 8 ice cream sticks as one set and make the shape of inverted “V” by sticking the sticks on the cardboard sheet.
Step 4: After Repeat Step 3 two more times to get the desired length of wall hanging.
Step 5: Let’s make our wall hanging colourful by using acrylic colours on it.You can choose any two contrast colours. I chose Black and white and started painting to get the below pic.
Step 6: You can paint birds, sun, trees and anything which looks beautiful. I painted few Christmas trees, moon and stars. You made few colourful sequence or beads on the Christmas tree.
Step 7: Tie a thread at the top(as shown in the above pic) and DIY Icecream sticks Wall hanging is ready to decorate your living room.
