In recent years, wellness centers have grown in popularity, offering holistic healing solutions rooted in ancient traditions like Ayurveda. However, not all wellness experiences live up to their promises. My experience with Anammyaa Wellness serves as a stark reminder that wellness should never come at the cost of one’s health.
Anammyaa – wellness ayurveda therapy & treatment center – Promise That Turned Into Pain
I enrolled in a wellness package promoted by Anammyaa Wellness as a holistic Ayurvedic healing program under the supervision of a certified Ayurvedic doctor. I unluckily found this centre on the basis of reviews in a popular mom’s community.
Below is the address of this centre in case if you are confused
111-112, First Floor, Global Foyer, Sector 43, Golf Course Road, Gurgaon 122009
It was marketed as a personalized journey aimed at improving overall health and wellness through traditional therapies. Trusting the professionalism of the center, I went through six treatments as recommended by the doctor.
Here’s what I experienced:
- Thalam
Immediately after this treatment, I suffered from severe hair fall—something I had never faced before. - Abhyangam and Potli
This session triggered troubling skin issues, adding new complications to my health journey. Overall no improvement noted, and feet discomfort continued. Alongside treatments, I was advised to increase walking and physical activity—advice that led to heightened pain and inflammation in my feet.
Eventually, the pain became so severe that I couldn’t even walk without special footwear or place my feet on the ground.
After consulting an orthopedic specialist, I was correctly diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in one visit, a condition that had gone completely unnoticed during my consultations at the wellness center. Further medical evaluation also revealed low bone density—another condition that should have been flagged but wasn’t.
Here are some more reviews on Tripadvisor on the same – do check the second one https://www.tripadvisor.in/Attraction_Review-g297615-d10162823-Reviews-Anammyaa_Wellness-Gurugram_Gurgaon_Gurgaon_District_Haryana.html
Also avoid any Facebook reviews because most are done by people who visited for a small time and have not phased any medical issues.

Anammyaa Wellness review – when Healing Turns Harmful
What was meant to be a rejuvenating experience ended up causing physical distress and new health problems. The treatment and advice either failed to help or directly worsened my condition. My trust in the treatment approach was completely eroded.
More concerning was the center’s response. Despite raising concerns , my feedback was met with dismissive, indifferent replies. There was no accountability or willingness to investigate the harm caused.
Legal and Ethical Concerns
Anammyaa Wellness claims that their packages are non-refundable and non-transferable, but such terms do not override the protections granted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. According to the law, services—especially in healthcare—must be delivered with reasonable skill and care. When treatments cause harm or fall below acceptable standards, consumers are well within their rights to seek refunds or compensation.
A Red Flag for Others – Anammyaa Wellness gurgaon
If you see any such packages as above – run in different direction. Do not make the same mistake.
While Ayurveda can be a powerful and supportive health system when practiced responsibly, this experience exposed a serious lack of awareness, diagnostic understanding, and professional care at Anammyaa Wellness.
If you are experiencing issues, this center is not the right place for you. Their treatments are not suited for managing serious physical conditions, and worse, could exacerbate them—just as they did in my case.
This is more than just a bad experience—it’s a red flag. The wellness industry must be held accountable for the promises it makes and the outcomes it delivers. If you’re considering Anammyaa Wellness for serious health concerns, please think twice. Ask hard questions. Seek professional medical advice first.
Wellness should never leave you worse than where you began. Choose wisely. Your health deserves better.
