DIY Zip Rakhi | Homemade Rakhi with coloured zips

Materials required to make DIY Homemade Rakhi with coloured zips

  • Colored zips
  • Needle and thread
  • Satin ribbon
  • Stone stickers
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Step by Step tutorial on how to make DIY Zip Rakhi

Here is a step by step instructions (with pictures) tutorial on how you can make rakhi with zip.

Step 1 –Take the zip, sew and fold it like a circle (shown below).

Note – You can take zips of your choice.

Step 2 – After you complete the design, paste a stone or sew bead in the middle (shown below).


Step 3 – To make the center more beautiful you can paste a string of beads (shown below). After this paste the flower on a satin ribbon.

Step 4 – Take another two short zips of another color (we need to make two leaves) and sew to make leaves (shown below). Paste them near the flower on the ribbon.

Step 5 – Paste some more beads on the ribbon to make it more attractive.
