  • Card stock paper or thin card board
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Satin Ribbon
  • Glittery Foam Sheet
  • Double sided tape
  • Decorative Beads
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors

Step by Step Tutorial on how to make Easy Popsicle Sticks Basket for Easter

So here is a step by step instructions on how to make a handmade easy popsicle sticks basket for Easter.

Step 1 : Take the card stock paper or card board and cut it into a rectangle shape. The length and width depends upon the required height and base of basket. Paste the double sided tape on one edge of the card board (shown below).

Step 2 : Roll the card board (shown below) and paste the edges together. This will be the base to paste the popsicle sticks.

Step 3 : Paste the popsicle sticks along the outer circumference of the roll (created in step 2). After pasting the required sticks keep them aside for a while.

Step 4: Now you need to create the base of the basket. For this paste 5-6 popsicle sticks at the bottom and then tie a satin ribbon at the upper half of the basket as shown in the below picture.

Step 5 : Take any glittery foam sheet (colour of your choice) and cut it to the desired length so that its sufficient to make the handle of the basket.

Note – To give the handle a different look I used zigzag scissor to cut the edges of the sheet. You can cut it with simple scissor or can use any other scissor or shape cut out staplers etc.

Step 6 : Then paste the strip of a sheet to form the handle of the basket (shown below).

Step 7 : Decorate the basket with pearls and decorative beads to make it more colourful and beautiful.

Step 8: Now you need to create the inner base of basket for that you can stuff the cotton or net inside the basket.

Step 9: Now it’s time to keep the gifts so fill the basket with chocolates and goodies for Easter.
